As you know (and if you didn't know, now is time to do it) since somebody asked me to buy some of my photoblog's pictures (¡thanks, Kumiko!), all profits from sellings go to
United Nations High Commisionate for help of Refugees [UNHCR] or any other humanitarian/environmental NGO choosed by the pictures buyer.
On 2007, I 'challenged' you to 'photo-donate' with the aim to raise 1000€ to construct a potable water well in El Salvador... My surprise was I realized that we finally gathered 1050€. So I guess you understand that I want to do it again. Right? :D
This year we are going to Kenya, Darfur and Chad, where there are over 35,000 refugees in camps in Dadaab and Kakuma -two of the largest in Africa- showing unacceptable levels of malnutrition, especially among children under five years: over 27% of children in Dadaab are severely malnourished. The situation in the camps in Darfur and Chad is very similar.
Malnourished, children are most likely to die from infectious diseases. In addition, undernourished women have problems breast-feed their children. UNHCR can change this situation if it has the means to do so.
... So here is where I ask you to for some help! :)
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO RECEIVE A PICTURE?
Very easy:
until 2008 january, 31st you just have to contact me by email at
email [carloscazurro[at]gmail.com] and tell me which picture/s would you like to receive.
After making your donative, you will receive those pictures at your place by certified post, with a fully enjoyable satisfaction eastern egg: you are helping to make this World a little better... just a little bit.
To avoid problems I had last year, shipments will be done the first week of February (unless someone has a special urgency to receive the print, in which case just tell me and I will send it with the minimum delay).
DONATIONS
As I can't limit your generosity, prices shown here are just a base.
You can rise your donation as much as you want (but just the 'base price' is more than ok, so don't care about that if you are not millionaire). Every single extra euro will be welcomed by children that will receive it.
MEDIUM SIZE (20x30cm): 25€
BIG SIZE (30x45cm): 40€
(p&p: 8€ for Spain and 18€ for international shipments)
OTHERS SIZES: 1€ * cm on the largest side
(example 1: a 105x75 cm print will cost 105*1€ = 105€)
(example 2: a 60x40 cm print will cost 60*1€ = 60€)
(p&p: depending on size and destination, just ask me)
REMEMBER: You can rise your donation as much as you want.
AND HOW CAN I KNOW THAT CAZURRO WON'T KEEP THE MONEY?
You won't know until I'll post the picture of the bank receipt where the donation will be done. That will happen on february's first working day (more or less), so give me a little margin to do it). If you don't have any new from me at this date and you know that I have money 'cause you bought some pictures, then I invite you to denounce me for 'suckery'... Anyways, I'd like to ask you for some confidence on me, please. :)
